Mr. Andrew Shields is a member of the CIDS group at the Institute of Technology Tralee, Co Kerry, Ireland. He has recently completed working on a project which conducted research into the area of integrating RFID networks with public mobile platforms such as GSM /GPRS. He completed his Masters of Science degree at the Institute of Technology Tralee in 2007. He obtained his First Class Honours Bachelor degree in software development in 2002,also from the Institute of Technology Tralee. Andrew is currently undertaking a PhD. programme in ITT in the area of Artificial Intelligence with a particular focus on Reality Mining.
